First year medical student at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM, Class of 2019) located at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL.
Graduated from Cedarville University in May 2015 with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology B.S., a minor in Bible, and partial competition of a Graduate Certificate in Bioethics.
At the age of 5, I told my mother that I wanted to become a missionary doctor and that aspiration has stuck with me every since. During my time at Cedarville, God really grabbed a hold of my heart and shifted my trajectory toward doing missions work. I love meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and caring for people in medicine. I don't know entirely to what extent I will be doing missions, weather it just be leading short medical teams, or (hopefully) committing more full-time to serve in areas that desperately need basic medical care.
Feel free to contact me you would like to connect. I always enjoy meeting others who have more experience in life as well as offering advice or encouragement to those who are younger in their medical career path.
