My wife, Elise, and I have been on the track towards missions for as long as we have known each other. As Rising third year resident it finally feels that we are getting closer to going. I know that we are still a few years away, but we are getting more excited about the protects. The lord has been growing us separately and together in ways neither of us expected. Our vision has matured from one of simple healthcare ministry to one of possible frontier missions with the hope of church planting. We know that the Lord has a lot to teach us, and that is why we desperately need closer communion with like minded people. We live in a small town with very few internationals, and many believers in our area have closed hearts to international missions. We are hoping to find more community and mentoring to continue to grow our perspective and challenge us to greater depths with our Lord.
