We work with an association of churches in north Côte d'Ivoire where we have started several medical clinics and one hospital. We have or are in the process of nationalizing these ministries and we seen some success. Our association of churches is 500 strong and growing. The region is majority Muslim with a strong attachment to African traditional religions (Poro). I have lived and worked in RCI since 1990 and I had the privilege of growing up here as well. With the war of 2002-2011 most foreign workers left RCI leaving a huge need for medical personnel and specialists. Our hospital and medical centres were the only ones to remain open during the war years while most government run facilities shut down. We are looking for medical professionals interested in working alongside capable and competent West Africans in a variety of areas.
