I am currently a senior nursing major at Cedarville University, with plans to graduate in May 2016. I am currently pursuing a degree in nursing with plans to continue onto Medical school two years after graduation. After becoming a physician (D.O.) I am planning to go where the Lord calls me overseas, or if I am called to work in the States that would be okay as well. I am especially interested in the realm of infectious disease, with a secondary interest of nephrology and how diseases take course in the body. I am currently taking a culture oriented health class where I am being exposed to various cultures and how they view health. I do not know what culture I want to be a part of long term so I am all over the map as to where I would be interested in working. I love the idea of taking care of people of a community of both their physical aliments and their spiritual dilemmas as well.
