Ron and Carol McDonald founded CHaRA - Construction Health and Relief Acts in 2006. They have worked in Tanzania since 1999. CHaRA is working in primary schools of Zanzibar teaching worm prevention, malaria prevention and hygiene. They distribute TOMS Shoes alongside health teaching. CHaRA also provides water and sanitation solutions in the schools. CHaRA provides midwife training, clean birth kits, and new born care. CHaRA works with the therapy department providing wheelchairs and PET Carts to people living with disabilities. The Love and Compassion of God fuel every aspect of CHaRA.
