For many women, the ability to be a thriving business owner is sometimes taken for granted. For Celine Piri, who was born and raised in a small village in Nigeria, it is an accomplishment that most women from her compound will never dream to achieve. Celine, a mother of four is the first female from her compound to travel abroad. With a B.S. in Computer Science from Alabama University, she is the first to graduate from college – earn a Masters degree, and Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership from University of Phoenix, Arizona. She is the first to own a business, especially one in which she can help people achieve their own dreams. Her professional career began at AT&T, working in Telecommunication Industry, and then holding a variety of roles including Software Engineer and Project Management that exposed her to different aspects of business. While at AT&T, she was a founding member of Women of AT&T Cincinnati Chapter and was a very active member of the AT&T Diversity Council. After a lengthy career at AT&T, and after witnessing race-based riots in Cincinnati in 2003, she was motivated to find an opportunity to help people in the inner city. With experience in recruiting at AT&T, she decided to use that expertise to start a management staffing company in Cincinnati. “If I can create several job opportunities for our community, by preparing individuals and teaching them how to invest their money, we can have a healthy community.” • Manages fifty full-time employees and 1,800 temporary employees across three states
