Member Bio

In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Global Studies from California Baptist University. During my time in university, I traveled to Rwanda and South Asia on several occasions as part of short term service teams. Once my education was complete, I began working as a registered nurse at the San Francisco Veteran's Hospital on the transitional care unit. During my four years working as a registered nurse, I traveled to Indonesia on a short term trip and did health teaching. I also earned my wound care certificate in 2014 and have worked as a wound care resource nurse. Future plans include returning to school to seek higher education that would benefit Christ-centered community development in India.
Moreover, I am a follower of Christ who has a burden to see Christ made known among the nations. As part of this pursuit, I've spent 10 months in India working at a Christ-centered home (ashram) for the destitute and homeless. The emphasis is living out the gospel of Jesus. Service, love, and humility are the cornerstones of this community, and they are displayed regardless of religious beliefs or social standing.
