I am a Junior, Pre-Medicine Undergraduate. I am studying Biology and Psychology at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. I work in direct care with individuals with disabilities. My passion is for working with children, especially infants and toddlers. I am interested in pursuing a career in Pediatrics. I have considered Child Psychiatry and Child Abuse Pediatrics, but I am not sure how that will tie in with medical missions. I have not yet had the opportunity to participate in medical missions, so I am currently looking for short term opportunities to get some experience. I was raised on a farm in a town of population 500, and one of my interests is in rural medical missions. I am excited to be matched with a mentor who has been in my place!
