David has a passion to see the hurting touched by God’s love and power. He loves to inspire others to pray for the sick and give them the training they need to confidently serve as ministers of God’s grace to people who are suffering physically, emotionally or spiritually.
David worked as a full-time missionary in the Middle East, based in Cyprus, between 2002 and 2011. In Cyprus David served as the National Director of a ministry called Healing Rooms, as well as working for a Christian broadcasting ministry called SAT-7. Healing Rooms is an inter-church, team based prayer model which is being used across the world. David regularly travels to the Middle Eastern region to train people in ways to pray for the sick.
David has been involved in various capacities in medical missions since he was about 12 years old when his father, Dr. Harold Harder, founded Blessings International—Medicines for Missions. David currently serves as the Communications and Development Director for Blessings International, as well as being a state director and mobilizer for the International Association of Healing Rooms.
In this seminar David hopes to help medical professionals expand their ministerial skills so they can more effectively treat all the needs of their patients, even as they provide quality medical care. David has interacted with many medical professionals who are frustrated, and even overwhelmed, by their experiences in providing medical care on the mission field. David wants to equip these medical providers with added spiritual and practical tools so that they will be ready to be used by the Lord to provide spiritual treatments, as well as medical, to the patients with whom they come in contact.
