I came to Papua New Guinea in 1985 after finishing General Surgery residency and certification exams in Ohio. My wife and 2 children came also, and we were blessed with 4 PNG-born children through the years.
I have served as a medical missionary at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea, caring for the surgical needs of our population.
The surgical needs have stretched me to learn urology, gynecology, orthopedics, etc. since I am the only surgeon most of the time. We see God make the difference over and over again in the lives of our patients. The needs are great, but our God is greater.
