I obtained my BSN in 2012 and have worked in Med/Surg, Oncology, and am currently getting experience in Labor and Delivery. I have always wanted to use my medical skills to minister to people with poor access to medical care. I am an intermediate level Spanish speaker and would love to be able to go to a country where I can also use those skills.
I am embarking at the end of July on a short term medical missions trip to Kenya where we will be administering free medical care to as many people as possible.
I look forward to the opportunity of meeting and learning from other medical missionaries, and also hopefully finding organisations to partner with in the future!
