I am a 22 year old Korean-American male who is in his last year at the University of Southern California. I am currently studying for the MCAT and will be applying to medical school next year. God has given me a strong conviction to advance His kingdom through the medical profession. I desire to become a medical missionary and be used in whatever way that God desires to use me. I go to a church called Oriental Mission Church in Koreatown, Los Angeles. I have an older sister who recently got married. My home is in Northern California at the moment, but I was born in South Korea, moved to New Zealand for my elementary school years, and came to the United States when I was in middle school. I love exercising and staying physically active in any way possible. Although I may change my mind in medical school, God has given me a huge passion in physical rehabilitation, so I have a strong interest in pursuing orthopedic surgery due to the fast results that it can bring. I am involved in an organization called Korean American Missions Health Council and spent my last year in college establishing a student chapter designed for the purpose of connecting Christian students who have a similar vision to expand God's kingdom through medical missions. Although I don't play sports anymore, I played lacrosse up until my first year in college and still desire to play it again if I get the chance.
