I have a Chemical Engineering degree from Ohio State and am licensed as a Petroleum Engineer in California where I worked in the oil industry for 12 years. My wife and I trusted in the Lord in 1985 and went to Japan as church planting missionaries. We completed our church plant in 2010 and returned to California to help mobilize new missionaries to go to the 25+ countries that Christar works in. As of 2015 I have been pastoring in a Japanese American church in Santa Barbara, CA and still doing part time mobilizing for Christar. I have also led short term missions trips of college students to Japan and Turkey.
