Professionally, I am a Registered Nurse with over 24 years of experience. I have a broad base of nursing experience as I have worked in family practice, school nursing, CCU, Med-Surg, Psychiatric, Geriatric nursing and have worked as a Nurse Case Manager for injured workers. Most recently, I was a Nurse Sonographer at a crisis pregnancy center in Fairfax, Virginia. Our center provided ultrasounds and counseling for women facing crisis pregnancy.
Personally, I am a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. I have a strong desire to share God's love with others and "give back" what God has blessed me with professionally to those in need. I have lived in Africa with my husband and our three children for over 11 years. We have lived in Egypt, Ghana, and South Africa. I have worked and volunteered in HS student/college age and Women's ministry most of my adult life. I love to teach and I am passionate about helping others. I would love to utilize my nursing background/skills and ministry experience to reach those in need. This has long been a prayer and heart felt desire of mine and I believe I have much to offer as I am faithful, available, and teachable!
