I have been a missionary for 19+ years, serving in Ukraine and Central Asia. My various ministries in the field have included church planting, advocating for and ministering to at-risk children, teaching, community development and counseling. I have an MA in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL.
I have had the blessing of hosting dozens and dozens of short-term missions teams over the years - in an open country as well as in a closed country. Effectively using teams and speaking into their process organizationally and individually is one of my passions.
I am currently a counselor to missionaries, serving 6 months a year at Alongside, Inc. (http://www.alongsidecares.net) in Richland, MI (near Kalamazoo) and 6 months a year in the Middle East and Central Asia.
