I am a missionary doctor with brethren in Christ World Missions working at Macha Mission Hospital in Zambia. I worked at Macha from 1975 - 1987. Then worked in an emergency room near our home in PA for 14 years, returning to Macha in 2001. I did a rotating internship and then two years of surgical training but did nto finishe the residency due to family concerns with the time commitment of a surgical residency. Currently I spend 8 months at Macha and 4 months in PA. Macha Hospital is a 208-bed primary care hospital in rural Zambia. We have a large research program affiliated with the hospital and also affiliated with Johns Hopkins University.
