I am currently a 23-year-old single medical student at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. I have been pursuing a missional life since my junior year of high school when I spent a week in Guatemala sharing simple medications and the gospel with sons and daughters in the mountain villages. Since that time my passion for using medicine as a gateway to sharing the gospel has grown through other short-term trips, faith books and autobiographies, the GMHC, and most importantly, through the time I've spent growing in my relationship with our amazing Savior. God has a lot more trimming and pruning to do before he lets me loose on the lost, so although I am eager to get in the game, it's probably a good thing medical school and residency takes so long.
