I have been living for the past three years in a large slum in Freetown, Sierra Leone. I am passionate about empowering those in poverty, living simply and in solidarity with the people, and remaining a humble learner as one lives and interacts with a new culture. I have primarily worked with kids on the street and at risk youth. I am passionate about education and have worked informally with different healthcare needs. I work in mentoring girls and helping fight for justice and protection for women in sexual abuse.
