I am the program coordinator for Solid Rock International, a mission organization that has been working in the Dominican Republic for the last 25 years. We are currently in the midst of a capital campaign to build a new, state-of-the-art medical clinic to provide services to the western region of the Dominican Republic and to fulfill our original version to serve the poorest of the poor in the Dominican Republic.
In addition, my husband is a family medicine resident interested and active in global health (including trips to Haiti, Swaziland, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, etc.) We love to
