Experience:
Nearly 16 years of post qualification working experience in Paediatrics and adults Intellectual and Physical disabilities through Institute based rehabilitation (IBR) and Community based rehabilitation (CBR).
Rehabilitation Program / services
A. Institute based rehabilitation (IBR)
1. Various Special Schools: Children with multiple disabilities (Intellectual, Physical, Social and communication disorders) school based and also clinic based treatment program),
2. Multi-specialized hospital (Neurological and Orthopedic disorders)
B. Community - based Rehabilitation: (A project of UNDP - KNNA), Kutch Dt, Gujarat.
During the post earthquake rehabilitation 2001 for the persons with spinal cord injury, Amputee, Fractures, head injury) & post traumatic complications following the disaster.
Relief work done for Tsunami affected persons in Nagapattinam, Tamilnadu, India
C. Home based Rehabilitation:
To enhance the clients independence in daily home tasks and coping with home environment.
To teach Energy conversation Technique and work simplification.
To reduce stress on the caregivers.
To improve clients safety aspects at home.
To facilitate balance between work, play and leisure
