Member Bio
I am currently a third year pediatric cardiology fellow in Dallas, TX. My family plans to move to Conakry, Guinea in West Africa to live as missionaries in the near future. We will be living in France for the next 1.5 years for language immersion training before moving to Guinea. Our plans in Guinea include educational outreach through medicine and theology (my husband has a ThM). Our work has been and will continue to be in partnership with the local church leaders. We hope to not only provide improvements in the medical education system at the higher level, but also work within the church for community transformation via healthcare, education, and spiritual healing.
I would like to be paired with a mentor to help me in the preparation process for mission work in West Africa. I have a 17 month old son, and would love to be paired with a "working mom" missionary who can give insight into how to plan for this transition.
