Rich Sheeley and his wife Jo spent 19 years as missionaries in Asia. Initially Rich pastored a young Chinese congregation in Singapore. In 1990 they started Good News Productions, Int’l. (Singapore) and Rich spent the majority of his time doing video and film production throughout Asia. He and Jo have two adult sons, Austin and Casey, who were born in Singapore. Their family returned to the U.S. in 2004 and Rich became Executive Director of Good News Productions, International a year and a half later. In 2009 he joined the Global Mobility team of Walmart Stores Inc. home office in Bentonville AR. Today Rich serves as Chief Development Officer of Pioneer Bible Translators.
Rich is passionate about prayer. His passion comes from God’s leading in his life and conviction that all Kingdom growth starts in the prayer closet. The last few years God has used the culture of Pioneer Bible Translators to take Rich’s passion for prayer to a new level. The strategy of Pioneer Bible Translators is prayer, and God is blessing this strategy in miraculous ways. In their initial six year planning cycle after making prayer their strategy God doubled the size of their ministry in all their core metrics. They are one third of the way through the next six year cycle and they are on target to double again.
