By the grace of God, I've followed Jesus since my 14th birthday. My wife and I started out in Youth With A Mission right out of college. We stayed in YWAM for 15 years serving in Amsterdam and then the United States. Fifteen years ago I felt called to go back to school to become a Physician Assistant. I've been working in orthopaedic surgery since graduating in 2003.
I take a group from our small local church (Calvary Chapel) to Guatemala every year for a missions trip that focuses on evangelism rather than medical missions. I'm an elder and "missions pastor" at our church. We incorporate medical treatment as we are able in our Guatemala trip. However, I'm the only medical provider who has been on the trips thus far.
We have four children aged 30 down to 20 years old, three boys and a girl. We live in a community of around 26,000 people on the coast of Northern California.
