Susan Post has served as Executive Director of Esperanza Health Center since 2005. Founded in 1989, Esperanza Health Center is a faith-based Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides bilingual primary health care services to over 14,000 patients annually in the predominantly Latino and African-American communities of North Philadelphia. Susan’s health care management experience includes over 20 years in health care administration, having served in key management positions within Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York and with a local community hospital. In these positions, Susan’s responsibilities included the management of ambulatory care services, primary care practices and network development and graduate medical education programs. Susan lives in the North Philadelphia community served by Esperanza. Susan earned her Doctor of Ministry in Urban Ministry and M.A. degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Bridgeport.
