Member Bio

Susie Brown, Orality Facilitator/ Global CHE Network, is a singer/songwriter whose Missions journey was launched during a trip to Cambodia in 2004. Since then she has traveled to India, Africa, Ukraine, Kosovo, Switzerland and Mexico. In 2006 Susie released a CD of original songs she wrote and recorded.
Since 2006, her focus has been on expanding the Kingdom in Oral Cultures specifically with women.
Susie was Lead Trainer/Western Coordinator for Scriptures in Use, Green Valley, AZ 2006-2009 and Director of Women’s Programs with T4 Global, Dallas, TX 2010 – 2012. She also served on the Leadership Team for the International Orality Network as Women’s Task force leader, 2009-2013.
Prior to joining Scriptures in Use, Susie worked for Morgan Stanley in local operations and has been an administrative assistant for church staffs and medical professionals before going into missions full-time.
In 2014 she joined the Global CHE Network Service team to bring her expertise in Orality to its Network members to better serve those who work in Oral Cultures. Susie and her husband Tim are originally from Indiana, but have lived the last 26 years in Tucson, AZ where they enjoy spending time with family.
