Member Bio
A hospital pharmacist hooked by a medical mission to the Dominican Republic 12 years ago. We spend only a week in Barahona at the hospital and surrounding bateys (villages for the sugar cane workers). Half our group does surgery in the hospital, my half conducts clinics in a different village during the week. We serve mainly Haitians who are not considered citizens of the country and need clean water, medical care and food assistance.
