I am a public health nurse by experience and philosophy. I have just retired and plan to work on a MOODLE-based internet health curriculum. I developed the HealthTeacher.com curriculum 15 years ago and want to create interactive curriculum for students and parents that will not only address health skills, but will also help them connect their faith to life. I am a part of the Jesus Is the Only Way Ministries (JITOW) in Matamoras Mexico. I want to see a school established for the children and adults (est 1600 families) living on the garbage dump just outside the city. I also want to help the missionaries who have been faithful in this ministry for 2 decades bring public health resources to these people along with the faith-based education. I am seeking contacts with like-minded folk / information from those who are experienced in any of these areas and to share curriculum resources with others.
