Students from the University of Toledo collected 1,983 blankets for the homeless of NW Ohio.
As a way to further raise awareness for homelessness advocacy and to celebrate the great impact they had on their home, student teams competed in a Fort Building Contest.
The event was lead for the University of Toledo Mortar Board Society and it was in it's third year on UT's campus. Over the past three years, Mortar Board and the University of Toledo has helped to collect and distribute over 5,000 blankets to homeless individuals.
