We have all been called. How are you going to answer???
My son and I have been blessed so mightily over and over again by serving with Impact Ministries in Guatemala over the years.
The founders of Impact Ministries – Les and Rita Peters – heard God’s call and answered, establishing Christian schools that not only provide a quality Christian education to some very needy children in an impoverished area of Guatemala, but, much more importantly, leading many, many to Christ.
So many children and their families here do not have the financial resources for health care. As a health care provider, or student (medical, dental, optometry, physiotherapy, pharmacy, chiropractic, nursing, etc.), God has given you a golden opportunity to reach out to these desperately poor with Jesus’ love.
There is sooooo….. much you can do – from providing health care, to listening, praying with someone, saying a caring word, or just sitting with them and getting to know them as friends, to simply letting the Holy Spirit speak through you and show Jesus’ gentle love, so that they too will come to know Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior.
“… let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18
