Member Bio

Debbie Doty joined the staff of Medical Teams International (MTI) in 1998. She has managed international health programs in Latin America and Africa, established partnerships with Christian organizations in over 25 countries and helped manage US Government grant funded health programs in Liberia, Uganda and Mozambique. She currently serves as Senior Advisor of Strategic Partnerships. MTI is a Christian relief and development organization founded in 1979 and based in Tigard, Oregon. MTI deploys medical volunteers, distributes medical and health products, and directly implements health programs that improve the health and transform lives of the most vulnerable populations in more than 35 countries.

Prior to working for MTI, Debbie served with her husband, Tim, as a missionary among the Maasai people in Kenya, East Africa for 15 years with CMF. Debbie and Tim have two grown children and 6 grandchildren.

She has degrees in Christian Education and Counseling from Northwest Christian University and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.
