I have been a nurse for 20 years and been on the mission field in La Ceiba, Honduras for 7 1/2 years. I have also been involved in disaster relief to Sri Lanka after the tsunami and Haiti after the earthquake. I have served on various short term trips all around the world including Egypt, The Philippines, and Mexico. I am married with a daughter in her second year in college. By trade, in the States, I worked at a children's hospital in the hematology/oncology ward. In March my husband and I will be moving to Equitorial Guinea, Africa where I will be starting an AIDS education/screening clinic and working with pregnant moms and newborns.
