My name is Pearl Burns. I have been a dentist since 1978. I always knew I wanted to be a dentist, and my dream came true. I love my profession and now enjoy the ability to share my skill with those less fortunate. I have been involved with mission trips since 2007 and have always returned being thankful and inspired. My profession has been generous to me and I am at a time in my life that I can "pay it forward". I have re-Focused and not re-Tired as of September 2013 to extend myself to other places in this world to provide care. Not ready to give up dentistry yet, I work locum tenens, as well as volunteer my dental skills in the Orlando Florida area.
Originally from Texas, I have lived in Florida since 1978. In addition to mission trips, another passion I have is scuba diving. I visit Bonaire for 2 weeks and spent 2200 minutes under water each year! I would rather be under the water than above the water! I also work for Frontline Medical Solutions, a dental readiness task force to deploy our soldiers.
I enjoy snow skiing at least once per year, and I am a serious bicyclist. My longest ride was 113 miles on January 1, 2013!
