We are YWAM Ships Kona (Youth with a Mission). We are located in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and have ships deployed in the Pacific and Panama providing acts of service and medical care to thousands of people in developing nations. Our medical focus is in dentistry, optometry, and preventing the spread of infectious diseases. By not only treating patients, but educating them, we aim to leave our knowledge of basic healthcare practices (hand washing, teeth brushing, etc) with the locals. We leave behind our knowledge so that the locals can pass it down for generations to come, and the overall health of the people can rise.
