The idea for Clinic in a Can was conceived in 2002 after we received several requests to help built clinics and hospitals in other countries. Realizing we were unable to meet all the needs, we designed the Clinic in a Can as an innovative and economical solution to providing quality medical health care to those who need it most around the world. The first Clinic in a Can was built in 2005 and provided medical care for a short time after Hurricane Katrina and was then sent to Haiti. We have since built and sent many more Clinic in a Cans all over the world. Clinic n A Can is a ministry of Hospitals of Hope, a 501(c)(3) Christian medical missions non profit organization based in Wichita, Kansas.
