About the organization

Organization

Formerly known as Life Sowing Ministries, Child Legacy International (CLI) first began operating in Zimbabwe, Africa in 1987. Directed and founded by husband and wife team Jeff and Karen Rogers, CLI has made great strides to bring opportunity to the people of rural Africa – breaking the cycle of poverty and helping people help themselves. We provide a holistic base of programs in the fields of clean water, healthcare, vocational training, orphan care, and agriculture programs to equip people with the tools they need to not just survive but thrive. All of this is done utilizing renewable energy so being located off grid doesn't inhibit our ability to power our hospital and facilities. We have treated over 150,000 patients in Malawi since opening our doors in June of 2012. All of our programs are our platform to share the gospel, and patients and visitors are invited to attend any of our weekly prayer and worship services to further edify their relationships with Jesus.
