We are developing a community to provide spiritual, physical, economic and emotional support for our trusted Indian friends as they share the Gospel, hope and love of Jesus Christ. Fishhook seeks to expand the number of Jesus followers who care passionately about India. We build relationships based on trust and shared life that lead to enduring commitments to building God’s Kingdom in India. Our work in India falls into three major categories: Care for destitute widows and children, evangelism and self reliance projects. United by God's heart to preach and heal, those made destitute by exploitation, family rejection, or ecoeconomic status are loved, cared for,and encouraged to follow God's call for their lives. Our partners minister in healing communities including the Phoebe Home and Living Hope Home for children and youth and the Amy Carmichael Home and Sahayam Home for destitute women.
