Friendly Water for the World

FWFW is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing communities with clean water. We work to train local community members so they can benefit their communities. Our main tool to provide clean water is the bio-sand water filter. We train in the production, maintenance, and marketing of BSFs. Each project is designed to set up a self staining business. Bio sand water filters offer an elegantly simple technology that can remove up to 95%-99% of all bacteria, viruses, amoebae, protozoa and worms. It also removes some metals. FWFW has projects in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Burundi, Zimbabwe, DRC, Rwanda, India, Honduras and Guatemala. More countries are added each year
