Good Samaritan Medical and Dental Ministries

Founded in 1999 by Dr Vien Doan, a former "boat person", GSMDM sends a team of physicians, surgeons, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists and students to minister to the rural poor through field clinics and surgical services, provided at no cost. GSMDM also conducts an annual Emergency Medicine conference in country, and has been instrumental in starting the country's first residency training program for emergency physicians. We are currently planning a two week summer mission to Cao Bang, Viet Nam's northernmost province. in country
