About the organization

Organization

Jericho Road Community Health Center was founded in the Spring of 1997 by Dr. Myron Glick. Growing up as a missionary kid in Central America, Dr. Glick had a heart and passion for serving the underserved. During medical school in Buffalo, NY, Dr. Glick saw the overwhelming need in the city and decided to start his medical practice there. Growing from a single provider practice to a 20+ provider practice in the past 19 years, JRCHC has grown to serve increasingly more of the neighborhood - many refugees from over 60 nations and 57 language groups as well as the urban poor. We serve our patients through medicine, community development, and social services, touching over 10,000 lives each year. We also have a heart for medical missions and opened Adama Martha Memorial Community Health Center in Kono, Sierra Leone in 2014. We are building a clinic in Goma, DRC to open soon. We are exploring Nepal and Burma as well. God is doing great things through us in Buffalo and around world!
