Established in 1986, Living Water Ministries has been serving in the villages along the Gulf of Gonaives in northwest Haiti to address their physical and economic needs such as fresh water, sufficient food for each day, education for the children, and jobs that provide sustainable income. Most importantly, LWM brings the Gospel to the people. This ministry is centered around the truths and principles of the Bible. It is our practice to build a church in each village that can double as a school during the week. A 600-acre Campus, strategically located on the coast, has been developed as a home base where programs and projects are established for the good of the people. It is becoming an avenue for commerce which is a critical need in this part of the country which will increase the access of essential life supporting services for the purpose of generating higher standards of living in this region. Currently, LWM employs 50 Haitian workers and feeds 4,500 students in 30 schools each day
