Myungsung Christian Medical Center (MCM) was founded by Myungsung Presbyterian Church, Korea in 2004. Ever since then, MCM has become one of the leading hospitals in Ethiopia. MCM strives to fulfill its mission as a missionary hospital by showing the love of Jesus Christ through advanced medical care. Currently there are both foreign and local medical professionals allowing MCM to be an international missions hospital. As for the government's strong request to retain patients going abroad to get treatment, a new hospital (annex built in interational standard) is under construction since January of 2013 and plan to be finished by the end of 2014. On top of that, MCM plans to expand the mother and child care project in the near future.
