In the Great Commission, Christ told his followers to baptize and teach, but did not tell them to enforce their own traditions or style of worship for the new believers. Likewise, Partners for Care believes that providing the truth, knowledge and resources will empower the people served – while allowing Partners for Care to have broader impact than would be possible through more traditional mission outreach models. In short, we seek to: 1. equip with the truth of our Savior Jesus Christ, 2. transfer knowledge required to battle HIV/AIDS and other preventible diseases, 3. provide financial and material resources needed to sustain the battle, 4. provide ongoing encouragement and leadership when needed, and 5. get out of the way of those who will lead on the ground.
