Project Helping Hands is a nonsectarian nonprofit organization that sends teams of volunteers on missions into developing nations to provide basic medical care and health care education. The key to our teams' success is the commitment they bring to impact people in a life-changing, even life-saving way. Beyond providing basic preventive care and treating illness, disease, and trauma, the teams help build medical services in remote areas with the goal of seeing them become self-sufficient and able to replicate these efforts in other places of need. Our teams are composed of volunteers, both medical and non-medical, who commit two weeks of their time to helping the less fortunate. While each trip is unique, we cater to the sense of adventure while providing Humanitarian medical care.
