It started with a caring mother who would give her son money to take to an orphanage every Friday in Lagos. The orphanage didn’t know where the money was coming from, but knew like clockwork the boy would show up. When the mother passed away, the son revealed the identity of the woman who gave money weekly without wanting any kind of recognition. As that boy grew up, he decided what his mother did was not going to end with her passing. He moved to America and while trying to balance his life, he annually managed to make it back to Nigeria to help. He brought clothes for the less fortunate every time. He did this for many years before teaming up with others to start the organization. The organization yearly organizes medical missions to Africa. During the course of the week we provide free medical health assessments, medicines and healthy life seminars. In 2015 we are going to Kenya & Tanzania. Besides, we serve food to people in need close to Baltimore's homeless shelters.
