Waves South Africa was founded by a missionary family who have been involved in work among the needy and neglected in South Africa and among refugees in other countries since 1993.It came to their attention that there is a need for short term preparation, in an Africa context, for those interested in basic global health care and medical work world wide. So we pioneered short term Medical Adventure Programs that would offer medical seminars, workshops, training and provide exposure to Basic Global Health Care in South Africa . The goal is to give those interested in medical missions basic preparation in global health care as well as hands on learning exposure so they can go into the world to make a difference!
