Volunteering on YWAM Medical Ships - Australia's Medical Ship is an adventure filled opportunity where you can make a real difference and experience the beautiful Papua New Guinea culture! Our vessel is fully equipped with an onboard clinic where we partner with local health care providers to provide quality training and medical care to some of the world's most remote areas. The mission is to see quality of life for the people of PNG in the areas of health, training and community development. Our onboard clinic helps to facilitate some of the more technical procedures such as dentistry and ophthalmology and to maximise our impact, we also utilise the ship to transport land-based clinics. We need doctors, dentists, nurses, ophthalmologists, optometrists, and midwives to help us make a lasting and sustainable impact on the most remote villages along Papua New Guinea's coast.
