I had the privilege of doing a summer internship after completing my undergraduate degree in bioengineering and prior to entering medical school. I left trying to save the world from injustice and I came back knowing that my God had already done that and so much more...giving true hope and joy to all people who know His Son.

I have been able to use this internship to guide my personal walk of faith and my correlated medical training. Knowing children live with life threatening yet very treatable scoliosis, festering cuts without first aid, and aspirations of improving their own country without any empowerment resources kindled my passions for orthopaedics, wound-care, education, and developing the tools and devices to aid in this delivery. I have better understanding of the greatest public health tool ever created, The Church, and her responsibility and role in both spiritual and physical ministry that points towards Christ.

I also learned how to get out of the way and watch God at work, appreciate His faithfulness and be very thankful He invited me to join in on the adventure.
