I have been an RN for almost 20 years. My career path has been primarily management and executive level positions. My most recent position was VP of a fast growing correctional health care company. That all changed when God called me to a different path. I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in July of 2013 and have not been the same since. I resigned from my position in order to pursue a future as a full time missionary. God brought my family to Birmingham, Al where we attend the Church at Brook Hills and are being equiped to go into the mission field as a family. I also work with a mission organization called Re-Vision that serves in the Dominican Republic. We offer long term partners with churches in the Dominican and sister churches in the U.S. We focus on compassion needs such as medical, spiritual, economical and educational equiping of local churches to reach out into their communities. My passion is working along beside these impoverished communities to provide a new hope through Christ. I am now enrolled at Liberty University with the ultimate goal of becoming a nurse mid-wife to work overseas with women and new babies giving them pre and post natal care and health education.
